Comedy competition coming to Columbia Theatre

The Best of Seattle International Comedy Competition comes to the Columbia Theatre Friday, August 16, 7:30 p.m. The evening will feature five former contestants or winners of past competitions. Tickets are $35.

For more information call the Box Office (M-F, 11:30 – 5:30) at 360-575-TIXX (8499) or order online at http://www.columbiatheatre.com.

Headlining will be Kelsey Cook, who recently made her late-night debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as well as her Comedy Central debut on This is Not Happening. Her other television appearances include AXS TV Presents Gotham Comedy Live, Punchline on FOX, Laughs on FOX, Uproarious on FUSE and Greatest Party Story Ever on MTV. Kelsey is the daughter of an International Yo-Yo Champion and a Professional Foosball player, which made for a humor-filled life at a young age.

When Cook isn’t doing stand-up, she is probably at a local bar, hustling people who don’t know she is a World Champion foosball player.
