Democrats urged to watch the debates

To The Eagle:

It was fun watching the debates last month in a group. We were able to talk about the candidates during the breaks. Some things we all liked some we all didn't. Not much was said directly by the candidates about regaining local control of local resources which is one of our main concerns. So, let's do it again but in smaller groups and possibly in more locations. Consider hosting a debate-watch house-party for your neighbors and friends!

The next presidential primary Democratic Party debates are coming Tuesday and Wednesday, July 30 and 31, starting at 5:00 p.m. and ending around 7:00 p.m. Check out the 20 candidates on the podium, 10 each night, on CNN, and online free. They won't all make it through the winnowing process to the next debates in September. This will be your last chance to yell at or yell for some of these candidates.

If you would like to view the debates with a group already formed, please call Deb Lincoln, Wahkiakum County Democratic Party Vice-Chair at 360-562-6612 and she will connect you with the closest debate-watch house-party she has info for.
