Bridge work

Workers this week have been nearly finished installing timber sidewalk planks on the Puget Island bridge. Both lanes of the bridge will be open Friday through July 7 for the Puget Island Garage Sale and the Independence Day holiday. Crews will resume the around-the-clock, single lane closure of the bridge for bridge painting work on July 8. Photo by Rick Nelson.
