What's happening at the Fair?

Wow, what a Car Show! We had 100 cars at the 1st Annual Cruzin to the Fair. It was a huge success. Mark your calendars for next year, the first Saturday after Memorial Day. Thank you to the many sponsors of the car show.

This Saturday at the fairgrounds will be the second leg of the Silver Buckle. Also there will be a multiple party sale happening in the Youth Building starting at 9 a.m. There will be something for everyone from tools, to household items, baby items, books, movies and lots more. The Fair foundation will hold a bake sale and will serve lunch, so come on down and find some treasures.

The fair is still looking for more royalty; anyone interested should call the fair office at 360-795-3480, leave a message and I will get back to you asap.

The fair is still looking for volunteers to be superintendents; anyone wishing to help out, please call the office.

The Fair Foundation’s Challenge of Champions tickets are on sale now. They are available at Bob's in Longview, Johnson's One Stop in Naselle and the Duck Inn in Skamokawa, also from all foundation members. Seating will not be an issue this year as the fair received a grant from the Department of Agriculture to purchase new bleachers so we have seven new sets that seat 100 people each. Also, thanks to the commissioners for covering the short fall so we could purchase all seven sets.
