Comets out in three games at state softball

The Naselle Comets softball team suffered a loss on the first day of the State 1B Softball tournament in Yakima this weekend and never completely recovered, coming home without a medal.

On Friday, the Comets lost to Inchelium, 18-5. They were able to hang on a little longer with a win against Taholah that day, 17-2, but ended their season with a loss to Pomeroy, 11-2, on Saturday morning.
