NHS softball team wins district championship, baseball ends season

The season ended for the Naselle Comets baseball team on Saturday in the opening round of the State 1B tournament with an 11-2 loss to Odessa.

That same day, the Naselle Comet softball team won the District 4 1B title with an 18-2 win against Quilcene.

The softball team will travel to Yakima this week, May 24-25 to compete in the State 1B softball tournament. They begin the double elimination tournament with a game against Inchelium at 1 p.m. on Friday.
