Are you day dreaming about sailing down the river? Do you already have your boat shoes on? If so, then you might be excited to know that next Tuesday, April 23, Wahkiakum Outdoors brings you another informational presentation, and just in time for boating season! Please join us at the Hope Center @ 6:30 p.m., to get a refresher course in safe boating, tides, river gear and PFD. Folks of all ages are welcome to attend.
Also coming up is the annual ‘Tidy up the Town’. This is always a lot of fun and a great way to pitch in to your community. Polish up main streets and take back the walk-ways from blackberries, in loving memory of Cathlamet’s Main Street Mama. Meet up will be at the CC @ 9 a.m., Saturday April 27.
For next month (May 10), Book Club will be reading Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt. If you need a copy of the book you can call the CC, we may have a few copies left.
The Lions Club still has free reading glasses available to anyone who needs them, and you can also recycle your old ones here. As always, we have a lot happening, join in on some exciting clubs- meet some new people or catch up with old friends.
Friday night movie will be starting at 7 p.m., Cribbage is Wednesdays @ 7 p.m., Woodcarving with Walt is 6 p.m., every Tuesday and don’t forget the lovely sewing group Sandra Sews every Thursday at 10 a.m., these ladies know how to have a good time.
