Softball season begins

The Wahkiakum Mules softball team started their season at home on Tuesday with a 17-0 loss to Adna. Above, Aubrie Montgomery delivers a pitch for the Mules.

"Books don't show how much this first game showed leaps and bounds of improvement," Coach Stephanie Green said. "These girls are a joy to be part of and I look forward to how they progress through the year. I'm excited for Friday's game."
