Art lecture series kicks off Monday

Next week, Tsuga Gallery kicks off the first of what they hope will be a monthly lecture series on art and other cultural topics.

The series will start Monday night at 6 p.m. in the gallery on Main Street, Cathlamet, with a lecture on design by Bob Kizziar.

Kizziar has given many lectures about art nationally and internationally and is a Fresno City College professor emeritus.

Monday's lecture will delve into the elements and principles of design and how they affect everyone in everyday life.

Admission is $5; all proceeds will go to the Tsuga Gallery.
