The season ended for the Wahkiakum High cross country team on Saturday at the District IV 1B/2B meet in Onalaska.
Hoping for a spot at state, four Mule runners competed against teams from 26 schools in boys and girls 5,000 meter races.
For the boys, Jamil Dimaano took 78th place with a time of 19:58.75. Leif Carroll, a senior, finished in 80th place with a time of 20:07.62. Levi Hauff took 107th place with a time of 23:11.98.
Kimberlee Watkins took 89th place in the girl’s run with a time of 30:30.77.
The top 42 boys and top 35 girls qualified for state.
