Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
The much anticipated opening of the Rosburg Store by Wahkiakum County residents is now official.
Ed Miller along with his wife, Roni, and brother, Landen, have brightened the store with lighter wood for the walls and great lighting throughout the store. The one thing that was noticed is how clean the store is. All the kitchen equipment is new.
Landen Miller, who is a chef that graduated from Art Institute of Seattle, will bring his culinary expertise to the Rosburg Store kitchen. He will begin to cook as soon as their convection oven and two more refrigerators are delivered.
The store offers all the amenities found in much larger stores condensed in a smaller space.
Roni works the register and manages the store along with Ed and Landen. The remodeling and cleaning of this wonderful establishment shows the commitment as well as the enthusiasm this family brings to Wahkiakum County. Again the Rosburg Store is back as a convenience store and get-together place for family and friends.
The Millers decided to have the store open seven days a week from 5 a.m. until they close at 7 p.m. Sundays may become flexible as they adjust to the community's need.
