Fall weather

A sign of fall? A heavy rain shower dumped on Cathlamet Tuesday afternoon. On Monday, regional timber companies announced that recent rainfall made it possible for them to re-open their timberlands.

The weather will be cooler this week, too, with the National Weather Service predicting high temperatures in the low 60's for the rest of the week.
