Companies restore timberland access

After a rainy weekend, the collaboration of several private landowners has opened previously closed forest land to public access.

Dave Boyd, Columbia River Region manager for Hancock Forest Management, on Monday said the ownerships include Campbell Global, Greenwood Resources, Hancock Forest Management and Olympic Resource Management.

The lands were closed in July because forests were extremely dry.
