Lift Up Life Art Show: Slivers of Hope

In honor of Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month in September, the National Alliance on Mental Illness Southwest Washington (NAMI SW WA) is hosting art exhibits in Clark, Skamania, and Wahkiakum counties. The theme of this show is Slivers of Hope. The artwork represents the hope we all need in life. The art show presents artists of all ages and experience. The show runs from September 5 through 30 and will take place at the following four venues:

• Vancouver Community Library– 901 C St, Vancouver, WA (Columbia Room from September 11 through 30 only);

• Three Creeks Library – 800 NE Tenney Rd, Vancouver, WA (reception Tuesday, September 25, 6:30-8:00 p.m.;

• Cathlamet Public Library – 100 Main St, Cathlamet, WA;

• Skamania Chamber of Commerce – 167 NW Second Avenue, Stevenson.

All artwork is donated to be sold at the Lift Up Life Art Silent Auction. The auction will be held as a First Friday event on October 5 at Cellar 55, 1812 Washington, Vancouver, from 5-8:30 p.m.
