Give More 24!

Community Home Health & Hospice is kicking off Give More 24! with coffee and sweets sponsored by Hearth Coffee, Inc. Coffee and pastries will be served September 20, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., at Community Home Health & Hospice Front Lobby, 1035 – 11th Ave., Longview.

This is a 24-hour fundraiser for their bereavement program. Donations will help them continue to provide free bereavement support to the community. Those unable to attend the event can also support by giving on-line on September 20, at http://bit.ly/GiveMoreCommunity.

“(My grandchildren) love the group because other kids understand. When I signed up I did not know there was a group for me as well. It’s so good to understand grief, that I am not the only one who has experienced this. It’s a great place for parents to talk. It’s important that the grief group is there,” said a grandmother and support group attendee. “This is the kind of program that needs to be here and stay around.” Community Home Health & Hospice offers free bereavement support to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one, not just those touched by hospice.
