What's happening at the Fair?

Greetings from the fair office. I hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July. This Saturday is the Flea Market at the fairgrounds. Tables are still available and only cost $10.00. Call the office for more information (360)795-3480.

The fair will have a raffle again this year. You will be able to purchase tickets from the fair royalty. The Grand Prize this year was donated by Chinook Winds Casino Resort, an enterprise of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. And it is a (1) night stay for 2 in a standard room at the Chinook Winds Casino Resort Hotel. It also includes a buffet gift certificate for 2. So when that Royalty is selling don't forget to buy yours. A list of secondary prizes will follow. Fair passes again are only $6.00 for the three days of fair. You can also purchase these from the fair royalty.

Hope everyone is getting their fair entries ready as fair is coming quick; we have only 33 days until entries start coming in. So mark your calendars.

As you may or may not know the "Challenge Of Champions" will be here on July 20. Gates open at 6 p.m., and pre-sale tickets are only $15. I understand there will be 35 Cowboys in town. So get out your boots and hats and come on down to the fairgrounds for a night of great entertainment. Thank you to the Fair Foundation for putting all their time and effort in getting a big event out to our little fairgrounds. I hope this is a start of things to come in the future. You can buy your pre-sale tickets at Bob's in Longview, Johnson's One Stop in Naselle, The Roadkill Saloon, or the Duck Inn in Skamokawa. Hope everyone comes out. Have a great week.
