The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce invites the public to a tourism summit to be held Friday, June 8, 3 p.m., at the River Street Meeting Room in Cathlamet. This is an opportunity to discuss the following issues:
· Why should our community invest in tourism?
· Isn’t it just low paying jobs?
· What do we have to offer?
· How can this help our community?
The chamber is seeking input and ideas from the public. Tourism Director of Tillamook County, Nan Devlin will speak about the issues.
