High School Students: You are welcome to bring your lunch and eat here at the Community Center. We have Wi-Fi, snacks, water and a microwave. We are located under the library, right next to the Market.
Important Reminder! Wahkiakum Outdoors is hosting a presentation: “Pelicans of the Columbia River” by Andrew Emlen who is not only an expert but is also the owner/guide for Columbia River Kayaking in Skamokawa. This intriguing event will be held May 17, 6:30 p.m., in the Riverstreet Room organized by one of WCC dedicated volunteers.

On May 24, Sharon Selby will present information on the S.A.I.L (Stay Active & Independent for Life) at the Senior lunch held at the Hope Center. S.A.I.L. is an evidenced based strength, balance, and fitness program for seniors and adults with limited mobility. Sharon is interested in starting classes soon and is looking for interested individuals.
Wahkiakum Community Center will be doing a local summer movie series of flicks that were filmed here in Cathlamet, SW WA and across the river.
Friday May 18th’s movie is rated R Comedic Drama with British socialites set in 1932. There is the whole servant dynamics and a plot twist. Popcorn provided or order food ahead of time by 6:30 at Maria’s (360) 795-3032 or The Pizza Mill (360) 795-3311 (free pizza delivery.)
