Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
North Coast Chorale (NCC) is in the mood for some fun this spring. Remember The Mamas & Papas, Carole King, The Beach Boys and Chicago? NCC and Director Denise Reed, have selected a variety of music from the 60’s and the 70’s for its 2018 Spring Concert performance and have entitled it, “Just for the Fun of It!”.
“Rev. Tim”, the Sunday afternoon D.J. for KMUN’s Rock ‘n Roll program will be announcing this concert. He’ll share facts and myths on the background of some selections and stirring up memories of what was happening in the world 50 years ago, how it changed our thinking, our dress and our music.
Come and be a part of the fun as North Coast Chorale rocks out at the Performing Arts Center, corner of Franklin and 16th Streets, Astoria, on Friday, May 18 at 7:00 p.m., and again on Sunday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 with children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult.
