Free identity theft program offered at Cathlamet Public Library

The Crime Victims Advocacy Program (CVAP) of Cowlitz and Wahkiakum will hold a free forum on how to combat identity theft, Thursday April 12, from 2-4:30 p.m., at the Cathlamet Public Library, 115 Columbia Street, according to librarian Carol Blix.

Stephanie Elbert, of CVAP will teach attendees:

1. How the Crime Victims Advocacy Program can help you for free if you are a victim of a crime.

2. Learn how to protect yourself from ID Theft.

3. Learn what to do if you are a victim of ID Theft.

Giveaways will be available.
