Chess Club participates in tournament

The Cathlamet Chess club attended a tournament last weekend in Vancouver. Gabe Moon (far right) took first place in the open section winning the cash purse. Nathan Garrett (center front) placed second in the sixth grade bracket. Other notable finishers with winning records were Kyler Sause and Quincy Evans. Contributed by Joel McEntire.
