Cecelia Cooper

Cecelia Jean Cooper, 84, of Cathlamet, died February 16, 2018 at the Longview Hospice Center.

She was born January 29, 1934 in Los Angeles, Calif., to Paul and Leota Brennan, the oldest of three children.

Together we acknowledge and share our joy in the gift that her life was to us and her beloved friends, and the pain that her passing brings.

Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her main reason for life itself. She is a wonderful legacy and a shining example for all of us to follow.

Survivors include her four children, Kathleen Howell, Kelly Howell and Elizabeth Dahlen, all of Cathlamet, and Margaret Richardson of Silver Lake; her brother Leo Brennan; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren with one on the way.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Friday, February 23 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Cathlamet.

Mom, you have given so much and asked for so little in return. Thank you for always being so strong, for loving, listening, teaching and forgiving, and always paving the way. You were simply a magnificent human being and we are all blessed to have been a part of you.

Until we meet again, Mom, may God hold you close in his arms of unconditional love. We love you.

Forever,

Your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren
