Coming Events--Community Center in Cathlamet

The Wahkiakum Community Center loves our volunteers! We’re excited to be moving into 2018 and expanding services to meet the needs of people of all ages in our county. We truly value those that give their time and talents to grow our programs and keep our doors open. Stop by anytime and find out how you can help!

We will be having our second annual Pie Social (National Pie Day) here at the Community Center on Tuesday, January 23 at 11 a.m. This is an opportunity to visit with community members over free pie and coffee. We are seeking pie bakers and servers – there is a sign-up sheet here at the Center.

This Friday’s movie will be “Apollo 13.” "Houston, we have a problem." Those words were immortalized during the tense days of the Apollo 13 lunar mission crisis in 1970, events recreated in this epic historical drama from Ron Howard. It is rated PG. The movie starts at 7:00 p.m., and popcorn is free. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks.

We are continuing our food drive through the next few weeks for the local food banks. Stop by with your canned or boxed donations.
