Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
The Finnish/American Folk Festival will host their annual Christmas Concert at the Deep River Historical Church on Sunday, December 3, beginning at 2 p.m.
There will be a soup supper following the concert from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Naselle Lutheran Church.
This event will be donations only.
Talent will include Richard Ellis, professional vocalist, Wilho Saari, National Finnish Kantele player, the Finnish/American Children's choir, directed by Becky Underhill, the Adult Finnish/American choir singing "Hosianna", under the direction of Cliff Weimer, and a bell choir, organized by Jan Wolfe. Sue Holway will also be on hand to share a brief history of the historical church.
