The Mini Mules fought hard this weekend but came up short, losing to Kelso Gold 32-16. Zakk Williams got the scoring started for the Mini Mules with a 33 yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Donovan Watson completed two of four pass attempts and also had a touchdown run from the one yard line. Cooper Carlson and Jacob Johnson came up big with fumble recoveries to lead the defensive effort. The lone Mini Mules home game is this Saturday at Wahkiakum High School at 1 p.m., and admission is free.
