Comets crush Acorns 66-8

The Naselle Comets overwhelmed the Oakville Acorns 66-7 last Friday to gain a Coastal League win.

The Comets took a 14-0 first quarter lead on long touchdown passes from Cole Dorman to Oggie Lopez (57 yards) and Josh Townsen (52 yards)

Five second quaqrter touchdowns made the score 42-0 at halftime. Donny Edwards returned two pass interceptions for a touchdown, Jacob Eaton, Townsen and Donny Edwards all caught Dorman passes for touchdowns.

In the fourth quarter Fa'aso Tutu'u scored on a 31-yard run and returned an interception for another touchdown.

The 3-1 Comets host the Taholah Chitwins this Friday.
