The Mini Mules improved their record to 2-0, defeating Kelso Blue by a score of 20-0. The game was a battle early on with both teams finishing the half scoreless. The second half the Mini Mules offense began to pick up the pace when Zakk Williams connected with Grant Wilson for a 45 yard touchdown reception. The next two Wahkiakum possessions were capped off by Jacob Johnson touchdown runs of 18 and 50 yards. Quincy Evans was able to connect on 1/3 extra point kicks to round out the scoring. The Mini Mules next game is September 30 against Kelso Gold at Kelso High School at 10:00 a.m.
