Waterspout seen

Last Friday at 8 a.m., Camas resident Don Quinn took this photo of what appeared to be a waterspout in the middle of the Columbia River upstream from Stella. "I was parked with Germany Creek delta in the foreground," Quinn said. "The funnel cloud dissipated as I drove through Stella." Stormy weather continued Monday, with afternoon tornado warnings and heavy wind and quarter coin size hail pounding the Miller Point area in western Wahkiakum County.
