National Night Out

Liz Beutler and Sherill Bollen prepared root beer floats for firefighters, law enforcement personnel, and friends at Tuesday's National Night Out event at the Puget Island Fire Department. Annie Howell, a volunteer for the fire department and daughter of Undersheriff Gary Howell, was the prime mover for this particular event. She and the PI Fire Chief Mike Beutler agreed it was a good opportunity for both departments to spend some time together, build relationships, and have some fun. Right: Friends enjoyed conversation over root beer floats at a National Night Out event sponsored by the Puget Island Fire Department.
