Puget Island bridge plans continue to fall into place, according to Tamara Greenwell, from Washington State Department of Transportation Communications.
In a recent email, Greenwell said that WSDOT is obtaining permits and finalizing the contract for the work.
“The project will go out to bid in October,” Greenwell wrote. "Single lane closures could begin as early as December. Once we have a contractor on board we’ll have a better idea about the traffic impacts.”
