Ronda Rose

Ronda Lynn (Brown) Rose died June 14 in Reno, Nev. She was born January 26, 1951 to Ann and Earl Brown at Cowlitz General Hospital in Longview. They lived at Crown Zellerbach family camp at the time.

After graduating from Wahkiakum High School in 1969 she attended beauty school in Longview. Mike Rose asked her to go to the Wahkiakum Fair in 1970, their first date. They were married on April 9, 1971 at the Congregational Church in Cathlamet.

Mike preceded her in death as well as their parents. She is survived by her children, Nolan, Erin and Brian. She is also survived by brothers Kerry and Barry, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She loved to read, sew, make jewelry and spend time on her computer. They also enjoyed singing karaoke.

A memorial service will be held at the Norse Hall on Puget Island July 1 at 1 p.m.
