Grays River Valley Center news

Looking forward to a busy month:

The Grays River Valley Center Board will be at Dismal Nitch on June 10-11, from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Concessions will include coffee and many baked items. The proceeds will go towards the gym floor refinishing, and a few more surveillance cameras, for the Johnson Park. For more information go to Johnson Park.org, and click on upcoming events. On June 18 there will be a Father's Day breakfast served in the cafeteria, at Johnson Park from 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Sewing Class is held on Tuesdays 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., the sewing class is also open by appointment for you to be able to work on projects. I am also offering to take in small sewing jobs, like hems, zippers put in, etc. Any questions give me a call. Denise Blanchard 360-355-0472 cell.

Hooks and Needles Class is held on Saturdays from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Bring your projects, things you have questions on, and just good old friendship.

Movie Night is on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. If you want to check on what is playing check on Johnson Park.org, and click on upcoming events.

Johnson Park is getting a lot of bookings for events, so if you would like a family reunion, wedding, birthday party, anniversary or get together call now to reserve your space. Remember, support Johnson Park and renew your sponsorship for the year. The Grays River Community Center is available, and we welcome you.

Also exciting news, we are having a few new businesses coming to Johnson Park, Rose Baldino of Wild Rose Photo Media in June. Make sure to book Rose for your photo needs. Matt Bullard will be bringing a Screen Printing business in July. Get your screenprinting done locally and save the trip to town. Vanessa Slichter will be having Wi-Twist Balloons beginning in June. We are so excited and pleased to welcome each of these new additions to Johnson Park.

The ECAEP preschool with Becky Erickson is coming to an end for the year, it has been an absolute joy having the children at the center. Becky will be having graduation on June 8. Gene Quilaugh will be singing for the event. The children have gotten to enjoy the facility on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
