Readers of all ages will explore all things related to building, construction, natural wonders, inventions, conservation and recycling this summer as Cathlamet Public Library presents “Build a Better World” during their summer library program. Activities may include constructing towers, and bridges, art projects, engineering experiments, games and more.
The 2017 Summer Reading Program is open to children and young teens, ages 5 to 15, with programs, prize drawings, storytimes, reading incentives, and more. Families are invited to join the Read-to-Me portion of the program.
Registration for “Build a Better World” begins on Tuesday June 13 with the first program session starting Wednesday, June 21, and continuing every Wednesday, from 2:30-3:30 p.m., through August 9. The Summer Reading Program Schedule is:

June 28 – Architecture: Here, There, and Everywhere
July 5 – Bridges
July 12 – Inventions and Circuits
July 19 -- Wonder Walkers
July 26 -- Discover: Oceans
August 2 – Conserve and Protect
August 9 – Awards Party
