Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Calling all creative citizens

Friends of Skamokawa at Redmen Hall and other active artists are calling for all local people (all ages) to create a piece of art, photograph, poetry that will show what they think is so special and valuable about the Columbia River, and/or the effect of the Columbia River on their lives.

The exhibit is named "For the Love of the River,"and they would like to have a variety of works submitted. This exhibit will provide an opportunity for all the creative people in this county to show why this is such a special place to live.

"For the Love of the River" will run through July and August at Redmen Hall. Those interested in participating are asked to contact Jill Hatier or Judy VanderMaten through Redmen Hall at 795-3007. Leave a message. The exhibit will open July 8 and run through Labor Day weekend.
