Three Wahkiakum High School students traveled to Wenatchee last weekend to participate in the State Trap Meet, according to VoAg teacher Kyle Hurley.

There were over over 150 competitors from 34 teams representing schools from all over the state. Out of a possible score of 100, Zach Johnston shot 83, Michael Martin 81, and Jaiden Mahitka 73.

Our boys didn't place in the top five, but those are pretty good scores for our guys," Hurley said. "Especially for this year, considering how wet it has been. It has limited our practice times."
