On the waterfront

Jerry DeBriae of DeBriae Logging took the controls this week to repair the bulkhead at the Town of Cathlamet Dock at the foot of Broadway Street. Here DeBriae places large riprap to protect the dock from waves. The project will cost about $8,000, Mayor Dale Jacobson said Monday, and two grants will cover $6,000 of the cost.
