A body found by recreational boaters near Brookfield on April 2 has been identified as 62 year old Scott J. Baguley of Beaverton, Ore.

Baguley’s abandoned vehicle was found on July 21, 2016, in a church parking lot near the Lewis and Clark Bridge, which serves traffic between Longview and Rainier, Ore.

According to Dan Bigelow, the remains were identified through a postmortem examination and a comparison of the teeth to dental records by Dr. Gary Bell, the state forensic odontologist. The cause and manner of death remain undetermined due to the condition of the remains. No foul play is suspected.
