The Wahkiakum Mules track team traveled to Napavine for a Central 2B meet last Thursday. In girls competition, the Mules took fourth place out of six teams with 80 points and sixth place in boys competition with 14 points.

For the boys, KC Beery took third place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:27:84. He placed sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 32-07.5.

Seth Kuljis got a personal record in the 3200 with a time of 14:22. He took fifth place.

Steven Yu placed sixth and fourth respectively in the 110 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles with times of 23.35 and 58.36.

In girls competition, Macie Elliott won the 400 meter race with a time of 1:06.05, a new personal record.

Ellie Leitz won the 800 meters with a time of 2:35.87. She also took third place in the triple jump with a distance of 29-08.5.

Izabel Lee took sixth place in the 1600 meters with a time of 8:15.47.

Rayanna Carlon placed fourth in the 3200 with a time of 18:10.22. She also took sixth place in the shot put and discus with distances of 25-00 and 57-04 respectively.

Tarah Wisner took second place in the shot put with a distance of 30-06.5.

Charlie Ashe took second place in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 56.34 and fourth place in the high jump, clearing 4-06.

Mckensi Fluckiger took fourth place in both the long jump and the triple jump with distances of 13-11 and 29-06.5 respectively.

The 4 x 100 relay team of Ashe, Grayci Thomas, Fluckiger and Elliott took third place with a time of 55.37. The 4 x 200 relay team of Ashe, Thomas, Leitz, and Elliott took third place with a time of 2:00.34. The 4 x 400 relay team of Thomas, Fluckiger, Leitz and Elliott took second place with a time of 4:50.98.
