Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
After auditions on Monday, Wahkiakum School District students started rehearsals for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of Alice in Wonderland. The play will be performed twice on Saturday.
Because MCT residencies only last a week, the students spend about four hours a day getting ready for the show.

Margaret/Flower- Amanda Carroll;
Queen- Cadence Guest;
King- Navarre Stewart;
Knave- Lucas Henry;
Flowers- Brookelyn Luthi, Evangeline Davidson, and Jessica Baker;
Mad Hatter- David Thompson;
March Hare- Wyatt Bruntmeyer;
Dormouse- Emily Esponde;
Mock Turtle- Lydia Blalock;
Humpty-Dumpty- Patrick Thompson;
Frog- Sebastian Britt;
Fish- Elijah Thompson;
Duchess/Flower- Damaris Blalock;
Cook- Jazzmine Klienhans;
Caterpillar Head- Montana Stephens;
Caterpillar Body- Abigail McKay-Beach;
Cheshire Cats- Shayla Russell, Selena Salas and Ava Thomas;
Ace of Hearts- Ruth Blalock, and
Lobsters- Angela Carroll, Shiloh Hoven, Kyleigh Cothren, Noah Nunes and Sawyer Peterson.
Performances are scheduled for 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday in the high school gym.
Tickets went on sale on Wednesday. They can be purchased during the day at the office at J.A. Wendt Elementary School or from Tina Merz in the Multi-purpose Room after school. The tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Kids under 5 are free.
Tickets at the door will cost $7 for adults and $5 for kids.
