Naselle Timberland Library has planned a variety of events ranging from children's programs to movie matinees for the months of April and May.
Family Movie Matinees are scheduled April 1 and 22 and May 6, all 1-3 p.m. The library will show new releases and provide popcorn; viewers should bring a pillow for seating.
Friends of the Naselle Timberland Library meet April 4 and May 2, 6 p.m., to plan library activities, and all participants are welcome.
The Books into Movies movie night for teens and adults is held 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays. Films may be PG rated--suited for teens or adults. The library will provide popcorn; viewers should bring a pillow for seating. There will be no activities on May 16 when the library will be closed for staff training.
On April 7 and May 5, the Library will present LEGO Crew, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Participants will build Lego constructions which will be on display for one week.
Author Lisa Taylor will present a program called "Beautiful Backyards: Growing a Garden Family Style" on April 15, 2-3 p.m.
Cathlamet writer Lilly Robbins Brock will share what she learned in writing "Wooden Boats and Iron Men," the story of her late father's WWII battlefront experiences.
On May 20, 2-3 p.m., WSU Extension Agent Pay Watson will present "Beautiful Backyards: Clucks and Coops" about raising chickens.
