Redmen Hall to reopen

Redmen Hall will reopen on Saturday, March 4. They will exhibit their new panels displaying the photographs that were in the "History of the Tugs and Steamboats operating in the Lower Columbian Estuary." They will be open Saturday and Sunday the first weekend in March and start the usual Thursday-Sunday 12-4 hours on the next weekend. Redmen Hall is located in Skamokawa at 1394 State Route 4 and will have exhibits, a new collection of books, and local crafts especially selected for visitors enjoyment. Friends of Skamokawa at Redmen Hall will hold their annual Antique and Vintage Fair at a new location. It will be held at the Skamokawa Resort, 1391 SR4 in Skamokawa across the road from Redmen Hall. They have a conference room behind their store that sits over the water and and is an easy place to get to and a beautiful place to be. As usual there will be antique and vintage items that have been hidden in attics and barns and are now being offered for sale in this fund raising event. There also will be a pie-social with home made pies and other desserts, music, coffee and punch. This will be held from 10 to 4 on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12.
