Comets teams in title games

Postseason play continues for Naselle. The boys and girls varsity basketball teams will be playing in District 4 IB Championship games this weekend.

The boys will face Taholah at 5:30 p.m. in Montesano on Saturday after beating Three Rivers Christian, 73-30, in the first round of district play, and Columbia Adventist, 62-50, in the second round.

With first place in the Coastal 1B league, the Comettes got a bye in the first round of district play. They beat Mary Knight, 49-35, in the second round. They, too, will face Taholah in their championship game on Saturday at 3:30 in Montesano.

Regional games are scheduled for February 24-25.
