Local Republican party has reorganized

Submitted by Len Lindsley

The Wahkiakum County Republican party met November 30 to elect new officers and set goals to better serve our county’s needs and desires.

Elected to office were Tom Blalock county chairman, Sheila Lindsley vice chairman, Len Lindsley State Committeeman, Mary Fine State Committeewoman, Claudia Rua secretary and Jerry Hogan treasurer.

The republican party looks forward to working with all factions of government in our county regardless of party affiliation. We feel we must come together in unity to meet all the needs in our county.

On January 28, Tom Blalock, Mary Fine and Len Lindsley will travel to Ellensburg where they will meet with state elected and appointed officials so they may pass on our county needs to Olympia. If you have any comments or questions, call 360-849-4083 or 206-669-8388.

The county republican party will hold regular meetings the third Tuesday of each month. Locations will be announced in The Eagle.
