What's happening at the Fair?

Greetings from the office: Thank you to everyone who attended the Halloween Carnival! A great time was had by all. Thank you to all the people who donated their time and for baking cakes. The kids love the cakes. We had three age groups for the contest 0-3 year old winners where Madelyn Bodine and Devin Helms, 4-7 year old winners where River Most and Aleena Kuljis and 8 to 13 year old winners where Nyomie Kuljis and Jawslin Williams. Congrats to all the winners; the judges had a tough time making their decision. Also thank you to all who visited the Haunted House and to all the volunteers.

Next upcoming events for November are: The monthly Flea Market will be held on November 12 in the youth building. Tables are still only $10.00 and all proceeds go to fixing the youth building. (Youth Building report: The first portion of insulation has been purchased and will be going up as soon as it is delievered.) On November 18 the fair will hold its annual Turkey Bingo. Watch for more information next week.

Okay, now for the big news: As you know the fairboard has been kicking around the idea of bringing the "Challenge of Champions" to town. I am happy to say they will be Friday July 14. So everyone mark your calendars and get ready for some Proffesional Bull Riders. They have been at the Cowlitz County Fair grounds and also the Clatsop County Fair grounds. Hope everyone has a wonderful week. And don't forget to mark your calendars for the fair events coming up.
