The Rosburg Community Club’s annual Holiday Bazaar will be held this Saturday in the Rosburg Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in participating as a vendor, table space may still be available, so please contact either Barbara Rose at 465-2234 or Sonja Kruse at 465-2251 for more info.

Lots of local vendors will be on hand for your early holiday shopping and the Rosburg Community Club bakers will have their yummy goodies for sale as well. Unique and home made items made with love by locals.

Lunch will begin serving at 11:30 a.m. and will include baked chicken, hot rolls, a variety of salads, dessert, coffee and juice.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Rosburg Hall as well as other community projects.

It’s time for all the little ghosts and goblins to get dressed up and head to the annual Free All Hallows Eve event in the Grays River Valley Center at Johnson Park for a late afternoon and early evening of fun for the whole family. Trick or treating inside the spooky old Rosburg School, free hot dogs and punch, coffee for the adults and a fun movie. Trick or treating will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the event will run until 7 p.m.

Bring the kids, knock on all the doors and gather their treats, have a bite to eat, and then enjoy a classic 1993 comedy in which three witch sisters are resurrected after three centuries in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night. Now it’s up to two teenagers, a young girl and an immortal cat to stop their reign of terror. The movie is rated PG and will be shown in the cafeteria throughout the event.

Plump up those veins and come on over to the Valley Bible Church for the next blood drive on November 3 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Give the gift of life with this donation and enjoy sliders made by April Zimmerman. Susan has a goal of 60 appointments so there may be a few spots left. If you can’t make an appointment, just come on in and I’m sure they can make a spot for you.

For more info or to sign up, call Susan Burkhalter at 465-2264.

The 4th Annual Wellness in Wahkiakum event will be held in the Grays River Valley Center at Johnson Park on November 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A light lunch will be served in the cafeteria as well.
