3rd Annual Haunted House at fairgrounds

Presented by Jason and Jami Rainey of Skamokawa, with help from Mike and Julie Iverson and Brian O’Conner, the third annual haunted house will be held at the fairgrounds in the horse arena from Friday, October 28 through Monday, October 31 beginning at 6 p.m. each evening.

Admission is free this year with donations gladly excepted. Any money donated will go back into the Haunted House to make it bigger, better and scarier next year.

The Raineys really enjoy doing this project. This is the third year they have built a haunted house at the fairgrounds. Every year it gets bigger and better. The reviews on social media have been outstanding. The reason they do this is there aren’t many events in the area for local families to go to, especially that don’t cost money. They do this each year for the kids. It takes over a month of their evenings and weekends to build and decorate the Haunted House.

The Raineys rely on the help of the community to collect decorations and have local students from all levels of school help make it a fun and scary weekend.

Jason’s employer, Swanson Bark and Wood Products, loan products each year to make the structure of the Haunted House.

This Haunted House is kid and adult friendly.
