Rosie Jameson

Rosie D. Jameson, 95, formerly of Cathlamet, died on October 15, 2016 in Vader at her daughter's home. She was born on July 14, 1921 in Heartville, MO., to William and Gertrude (Olds) Doris. She and John were married on Dec.24, 1941 in Idaho and moved to Cathlamet in 1956 where they lived until John's death in 2002.

Rosie was a member of Assembly of God Church (now River of Life) teaching Sunday School and was a member of the Women's Missions. In addition to her family she loved to quilt, sew, garden and cook, making all three of her daughters wedding dresses.

Rosie is survived by daughters, Thelma Fudge of Omak, Menona Huntley of Vader and Dylene Oberg of Littleton, CO., a brother Vernon Davis of Missouri, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by six siblings. Viewing will be held from 11 a.m., to 12:45 p.m., at Dowling Funeral Home in Cathlamet. Entombment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery at 1 p.m., on Saturday. A celebration of Rosie's life will be held at Vader Assembly of God Church on Saturday October 22, at 3:00 p.m. Dowling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
