Congresswoman Jaime Herrera-Beutler will share stories of southwest Washington’s veteran heroes on her website this November to help commemorate Veterans Day.
“By printing their names, sharing their photos, and telling their stories, we pay tribute to the brave men and women from southwest Washington who defended our freedom,” said Herrera-Beutler. “It’s my duty as a Member of Congress to serve our veterans by ensuring they continue to receive necessary support and resources. And on this Veteran’s Day, please join me in honoring the sacrifice of our military servicemen and women by compiling their photos and stories.”
Herrera-Beutler invites residents who served in the military or know someone who did to submit photos and stories of that time in the service. Herrera-Buetler will pay tribute to the veterans by highlighting their stories and photos on her website, jhb.house.gov, and on her Facebook page through November.
