Cross Country

The Wahkiakum Mules Cross Country team traveled to Kalama on Tuesday to participate in a Central League meet against eight other teams in a three mile race.

Alex Peachey-Mellis led the Mule boys, taking 25th place with a time of 24:37.23. Seth Kuljis came in 32nd place with a time of 25:46.14. Leif Carroll finished in 29:48.46 and took 40th place. Jeffrey Gates placed 43rd with a time of 30:14.21.

For the girls, Kyrah Scuito finished in 27th place with a time of 37:04.15. Ayesha Ahmed took 28th place with a time of 47:16.

Next Tuesday, the cross country team travels to Rainier for their next meet.
