Earl Brisbin

Earl C. Brisbin Jr., 73, died in Portland on August 24, 2016. The son of Earl Sr. and Jean (Hurlbut) Brisbin, he was born in Portland on October 9, 1942. He grew up in Beaverton where he worked as a youth on his parents nursery and graduated from Beaverton High School.

Earl was a 25 year resident of Naselle. He was a self-employed commercial fisherman, worked in the woods, and mowed county roads. He met Doris Alumbaugh while she was employed for Green Valley Meats in Auburn and they married in Reno on July 24, 2001. Together they lived the "good life" in rural Naselle where they raised Australian Shephards. Earl enjoyed hunting and fishing and taking care of his property.

Survivors include his wife Doris of the family home, and other members of his extended family.

Memorial service and reception will be held Sat., September 10, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at Valley Bible Church, 4723 SR4 in Rosburg. Memorials are requested to Valley Bible Church. His guestbook is available at http://www.penttilaschapel.com.
